Each year EAP students receive over
$1 million in need-based and other EAP scholarships typically
ranging from $500 to $3,000, varying by program. Awards
are based primarily on the cost of a particular EAP program
and a student's financial circumstances. These scholarships
supplement all other types of financial aid awarded through
the campus financial aid offices, for which EAP students
are still eligible (UC, California state, federal aid). Below you can view UCSB Scholarships,EAP Scholarships and National Scholarships.

UCSB GRANTS:
Jeanie Anderson Memorial Fund Undergraduate Research/Creative Projects Grant
These grants will provide resources to pursue learning beyond the classroom and/or allow a student to establish unique relationships abroad to expand his or her learning experience. Many of a student’s personal goals and dreams for international study can be translated into a grant proposal. In the past, grants have been awarded for $500 to $1,000. Some past projects have included “Acoustic Map: Sounds of Germany,” “Comparing Recycling Programs across Western Europe,” “Invasive Plant Species on the Island of Fernando de Noronha, Brazil,” “Flamenco Music Project,” and “The Scandinavian Response to the War in Iraq.”
