The pre-departure orienation is mandatory
and there are two parts to it. The general orienation must
be completed online, and the country-specific orientation
will be in person.
The general orientation will cover the following topics:
culture shock, student code of conduct, academic issues,
financial issues, and health and safety information.
For students departing in winter
2010,
this must be completed online by November 1, 2009.

Please please print the Orientation
Resource Manual (pdf) or save it to your computer
so you can refer back to it.
The country-specific orientation will allow you to meet
the other students in your program and speak with returnees.
The country-specific orientation will cover all the details
of your program and will ensure that all of your questions
are answered. Follow the instructions that you received
from your EAP Advisor via email. Your EAP Advisor will
notify you of the date, time, and location of your country-specific
orientation.
